WKB partner Leslie Williams appointed member of the Senate of the Economy

At its annual year-end event at the Munich Parliament building, the Senat der Wirtschaft, a European platform for business leaders, officially recognized and appointed members of the U.S. Senate of the Economy, Inc, the Senat’s recently established U.S. affiliate.

The new members include: Leslie Williams, Senate director/ legal counsel and corporate partner of Wilson, Keadjian Browndorf LLP, John Gosch and Michael Rolland, both directors of the Senate as well, and three of the new Senate corporate members, Kerstin Ewelt of Quora (Mountain View, CA), Tom Buttenbach of 8MinuteEnergy (Los Angeles), and Peter Stern of Nuernberger Wach und Schliessgesellschaft (Charles, S. Carolina).

In addition to honoring the new members of the Senate, the evening included speeches by EU Comissioner for Finance, Guenther Oettinger, Luxemburg Foreign Minister Jean Asselborn, and the head of the state of Rheinland Pfalz, Volker Wissing. The Senat’s President, Dr. Franz Radermacher, summed up the speakers’ comments by encouraging the Senat’s members to continue to engage in social responsibility, environmental sustainability and to promote improved Transatlantic Relations between the U.S. and the EU.
